CB&I building in The Woodlands has a new tenant (and presumably a new name)

Arena Energy, an oil and gas producer that focuses on low-risk drilling opportunities, is relocating its headquarters to Lake Front North office complex in The Woodlands, Texas, as reported by CoStar.

The company signed a 87,231-square-foot lease deal with the Howard Hughes Corp., which acquired the two-building property this past September for $53 million, according to an earlier press release. The site served as the former headquarters for Chicago Bridge & Iron Co (CB&I)., which relocated to west Houston after being acquired by McDermott International in 2017.

Arena Energy’s lease includes floors two through four of Lake Front North's Building 1, located at 2103 Research Forest Drive. The company is expected to move into its new space this upcoming September.
